Our First Card Show Experience!

This past weekend, Starlight Card Co. attended its very first card show, and it was an experience I'll never forget.

One of my favorite parts of the day was introducing people to collectible card lines they had never seen before. Several visitors stopped by the table and were surprised to learn that My Little Pony trading cards even existed. Others were longtime fans who were excited to finally see the cards in person and browse the different sets.

Another unexpected highlight was getting to meet some of the other vendors at the show. Many of them specialized in Pokémon cards, and it was great connecting with fellow collectors and business owners who share the same passion for the hobby. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, and I enjoyed learning more about the community.

The most memorable moment of the day, however, was a young girl who stopped by with her mom. Her face lit up the moment she started opening packs, and her excitement only grew when she pulled the box hit from a single pack. Watching her reactions and seeing the joy those cards brought her was incredible.

Moments like that are exactly why I wanted to start attending card shows. It's not just about selling cards—it's about sharing a hobby, creating memories, and helping collectors of all ages discover something they love.
